thanks for your request.
An automatic prompt is not planned at the moment, I´ll keep the request open for vote, but there is already the possibility to check for a newer version by clicking on the blue "Information" button in the top menu bar and choosing "Check for Updates" as a manual process. That may also be a benefit for the purpose of always keep the software up to date.
