Firmware update for the self-hosted RSP
- Log in to your server backend.
- Navigate to // System / Firmware. You will see something similar to the following:
- Make a note of which boot bank is currently active.
- In the [Download] tab, you can search for new versions and download them. A distinction is made between patch and firmware:
- Start the download using the corresponding icon in the [Actions] column.
- Once completed, the download will be available:
- Depending on the type of update, select the [Activate Firmware] tab or [Activate Patch].
- The default settings are usually correct. Do not change them without prior consultation.
- Start the update with [Activate] and confirm the security prompt.
- If this was a patch, no further steps are required. The new firmware version is active immediately. At the latest, when you reload the website in the browser, it will also be displayed in the footer of the website.
Only in the case of a complete firmware update, proceed as follows:
- Check under [Current Firmware Status] that the other boot bank is now activated. Correct the setting if necessary.
- In any case, click [Change].
- Finally, the system must be restarted under // Status / Actions [Restart system]:
- The system will then start with the new firmware version.
