Why Are There Multiple CTM Updates?
CTM refers to the process of configuration transfer from the portal to the devices. This process has been redesigned based on an adapted security concept and will be implemented through the upcoming CTM updates on both the portal and the devices.
We take potential vulnerabilities very seriously and are extending improvements across our entire product portfolio. This requires updating devices, but it also leads to limitations on older devices. A first step in this process was already the discontinuation of older products (EOL V1-Servers) that can no longer be integrated into the new security concept.
The CTM update will soon be available to you as new firmware for compatible devices:
- mbNET from HW:02 Firmware 8.3.0
- mbNET.mini from HW:01 Firmware 2.3.0
- Portals/Servers/.virtual Firmware 2.16.3
