What changes for device operation after the CTM updates?

The process of transferring a configuration to the router has been completely revised and secured. Both the router firmware and the portal software have been adapted. Therefore, for operation after 19.09.2024, the following applies to the different routers:

mbNET / mbNET.rokey

• Devices from HW:02
  • Will receive the new firmware as soon as they come online.
  • All functions will be available again after activating the new firmware.
     
• Devices of hardware generation :01
  • Can connect for remote maintenance as usual.
  • The devices do not support the new configuration transfer. Therefore, configurations cannot be downloaded or synchronized.
  • Adjustments can be made on the router's web interface and in parallel on the portal.
  • New devices cannot be created.
  • Migration import from the old V1 portal is still possible.

mbNET.mini

• The devices will receive the new firmware as soon as they come online. All functions will be available again after the new firmware is activated.

mbNETFIX

• The portal and CTM are not relevant here. mbNETFIX is not affected

mbNET 600 Series

• We generally advise against operating these devices for security reasons.
