How to remotely rename an mbNET or mbNET.rokey device.

Situation: I have an mbNET-device installed on and want to rename it remotely.

Question: How can I do this remotely?

Answer:   You can create a template of the existing device, copy its serial number. Create a new device which is based on the templet, copy the serial number to the new configuration and save the configuration to your PC. Now upload the configuration file (mbconnect24.mbnx), into the mbNET-device.

Remarks: This procedure works only for mbNET and mbNET.rokey. It does not work for the mbNET.mini as this procedure requires a Web2Go connection to the device, which is not supported by the mbNET.mini.

You can also use this procedure to port mbNET-devices between virtual server accounts and RSP-V2 accounts.
