How do I determine the hardware version of my device?

The devices can be roughly categorized based on the front panel:

HW: 01 HW: 02 to HW: 05 from HW: 06
Frame of the front panel: yellow Frame of the front panel: gray Frame of the front panel: gray
Label of the eighth LED:  Err Label of the eighth LED:  Stat Label of the eighth LED:  Stat
Label WAN: black on yellow  Label WAN: black on yellow  Label WAN: white on red

 

A more accurate indication is provided by the device label:

You can find the hardware version listed behind the item number.

 

In the portal, you can estimate the device generation based on the firmware version:

  • Firmware between 3.0.0 and 5.x.y: Hardware: 01
  • Firmwareversion at least 6.0.0: Hardware: 02 or newer

Additionally, the hardware version is usually displayed in the RSP behind the serial number:
