How can I activate a device license in the portal?
Preparation
- Make sure that the router for which you want to activate a license is online
- Navigate to the device's configuration page in the portal:
- Click on Licenses (en) / Lizenzen (de).
You will receive an overview with the following structure:
- Select Synchronize Licenses (en) / Lizenzen synchronisieren (de) via the wrench icon to sync the portal and router
Execution
- Click on the lock icon next to the license type you want to activate:
- Enter your purchased license key
- Confirm the entry with Unlock (en) / freischalten (de)
- Give the system some time to verify and update the activation.
- The license has been entered in the portal and activated on the router:
- You can now make the corresponding configuration adjustments in the portal.
- Finally, synchronize the new settings to the router.
