Why does my USB device will not be recognized?

If a mbNET does not recognize a USB device, please ensure that the respective USB device ...

  • is "FAT" formatted and
  • has minimum the 2.0 - standard.

You can check the status of the USB device on the mbNET webpage under "Advanced" -> "System" -> "USB":

In some cases, the USB device is just not suitable with the mbNET, in this case, we offer a USB device in our product line, which is specially designed for our devices  - the mbMEM.
